Not every roof job is massive. Sometimes it's a modest home that just needs solid, reliable protection - and that's exactly what we took care of here in Emmett. No job is too small when it matters to the homeowner living under it.

Here's what we were working with - a ranch-style home with a multi-section roofline. That kind of layout has more angles, valleys, and transitions to account for. Every one of those intersections is a potential weak point if the install isn't done right. Getting the shingles to lay flat and true through all of those transitions is where the real work is.

We went with a clean gray asphalt shingle that suits the home's exterior well. The shingle courses are tight and consistent across the field of the roof, and the ventilation was handled properly too - box vents placed and flashed in correctly so the attic can breathe the way it should. That's something a lot of people don't think about, but poor attic ventilation shortens the life of a roof faster than almost anything else.

The valleys and eave lines came out clean. Drip edge is set, transitions between roof sections are sealed up right, and the whole thing is ready to do its job for years to come. That's what a good asphalt shingle installation looks like when it's done with attention to detail rather than just speed.

If your roof has been on your mind - whether it's showing wear or you just haven't had it looked at in a while - we're out here in the Emmett area and happy to take a look.
