This Meridian home needed a full reroof - and that's exactly what we delivered. We tore off the old worn-out shingles and replaced everything with Atlas ProLam architectural shingles. Clean, dark charcoal tone that ties in perfectly with the light blue-gray siding. The whole look just works.

Atlas ProLam is a solid choice for Idaho homes. It's a laminated architectural shingle, which means you get that dimensional look along with serious durability. Better wind resistance, better water shedding, and a profile that holds up season after season. Not all shingles are built the same, and this one is a step above the basic three-tab options you see on a lot of older homes.

One thing that doesn't get talked about enough is ventilation. On this re-roofing job, we made sure the roof vents were properly positioned across the field of the roof. Good airflow up there matters - it keeps heat and moisture from building up in the attic, which protects the shingles from the inside out and helps your HVAC system work more efficiently.

The complexity of this roofline was worth noting too. Multiple pitches, valleys, and angles - that's where you really see the difference between a careful installation and a rushed one. Every course of shingles has to line up correctly, and every valley has to be sealed tight. We take that seriously on every asphalt shingle roof installation we do, no matter the size.

If your roof is getting up there in age or you've noticed shingles curling, granules in the gutters, or just that worn-out look, it's worth having someone take a look. A lot of homeowners in the Meridian area are dealing with roofs that are past their useful life. Getting ahead of it beats waiting for a leak to show up.
